"In closing, I asked all 3 Chiefs what they’d wish for the future of Barlow Fire Department. All three agreed and said, “Manpower and funding. Firefighting training is not easy and there’s a significant time commitment to become and stay certified, but the rewards are far-reaching. As a firefighter you not only gain a new ‘family’ but have the opportunity to selflessly help your community, often at a time when they need it most!” Joe paused, then added, “Truthfully, we all feel it’s most importantly the on-going safety and prosperity for each of our members. Everyone going home safely after a call is something money can’t replace so that’s definitely the on-going hope for Barlow Fire Department!”
